A bespoke Koenigsegg Jesko Attack caught fire and was completely destroyed in Athens, Greece while the owner was participating in a large drive event through the country.
The Jesko in question is known as the Nur Edition, featuring a fully exposed carbon fiber body with several gold accents, including on the front canards, side skirts, and rear-wing endplates. It was quite similar to the Jesko ‘Odin’, but didn’t feature gold flakes in the carbon fiber. Unfortunately, it’s now nothing more than a sad pile of melted metal and carbon fiber.

Images and videos taken of the scene show that the Swedish hypercar caught fire on a highway. No official cause for the fire is known but the car may have gone up in flames quite quickly as it was fully engulfed before local fire crews could arrive on the scene. A YouTube video shows the car almost completely burnt to a crisp without fire crews in sight.
The car had been participating in the ‘6to6 Motor’ tour through Europe as one of the more than 70 other sports cars, supercars, and hypercars. The owner of the Jesko reportedly took delivery of the car earlier this year and paid an extra $443,400 for the exposed carbon fiber finish.
Fortunately, there are no reports of anyone being injured in the blaze. Here’s hoping the car was fully insured. However, with all 125 examples of the Koenigsegg Jesko already sold, the owner will have to turn to the used market if they want to pick up another example.
Each Jesko to leave the Koenigsegg factory has a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 pumping out 1,280 hp on pump gas or 1,600 hp on E85. This engine spins up the rear wheels through a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission.
