• Bentley Mulliner Istanbul Silhouette Collection features bespoke touches inspired by Istanbul landmarks.
  • The limited-edition collection includes Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga in Azure trim with V8 engines.
  • The specification combines different hues of blue and turquoise, with bespoke embroidery inside the cabin.

Bentley announced a trio of special models that will be exclusively offered by its dealer in Istanbul, featuring a unique specification that pays tribute to the historic landmarks and sights of the Turkish city. The Bentley Mulliner Istanbul Silhouette Collection includes the Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga, all in the Azure trim with a V8 engine under the hood.

All three models are painted in a Black Sapphire shade, contrasting the rich chromework of the Azure trim. The Continental GT and the Flying Spur feature Dragonfly blue accents on the carbon fiber splitter and side skirt extensions, something that is not visible in the Bentayga SUV, at least from the official photos.

The interior spec is admittedly more interesting, thanks to the bespoke Dragonfly Blue embroidery depicting the Maiden’s Tower, the Galata Tower, and the Bosporus Bridges. The graphics can be found on the headrests and on the rear cushions. Furthermore, the hides of Imperial Blue and Beluga are a reference to the patterned tiles of the Blue Mosque, another important landmark of Istanbul.

The Mulliner treatment of the interior also features Piano Imperial Blue wood and “Galaxy” stone accents on the dashboard, plus a metal plaque on the side sills. Finally, owners will receive a special key box, emphasizing the bespoke nature of their vehicle.

According to Bentley, the blue and turquoise hues used across the exterior and the interior, were inspired by the Bosporus Strait. For those not familiar with the region, this is a popular waterway that connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara and divides the Western part of Turkey from the mainland.

There are no changes on the underpinnings of the models, retaining the comfort-focused setup of the Azure trim. Note that the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine will soon be electrified, as part of a PHEV system that will debut soon in the next generation of the Continental GT.

The Bentley Mulliner Istanbul Silhouette Collection will debut this month with pricing yet to be disclosed. While the company hints at limited availability, the “one-of-three” inscription on the side sills likely denotes three distinct model variants rather than the total production quantity. The models will be showcased at the Maslak showroom and a pop-up store in Galaport.
