- BMW has announced plans to stage a “significant world debut” at Goodwood.
- The mystery new model will be unveiled on July 11 at 5:30 am ET.
- It will also showcase an assortment of cars at the event, including the M4 CS and Skytop concept.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed kicks off next month and the debuts are starting to add up. The latest come from BMW, which will be showcasing the new X3 as well as a “significant world debut.”
BMW isn’t saying much about the latter at this point, but confirmed the mystery model will be unveiled on July 11 at 10:30 am BST (5:30 am ET). That’s not much to go on, but the company recently announced plans to introduce the M5 Sedan on June 26. As a result, it’s possible the M5 Touring could be shown at Goodwood.

That’s just a guess, but BMW is working on an assortment of other models so there’s no shortage of possibilities. Among them are the M2 CS and M3 CS Touring.
Putting the mystery model aside, BMW will have a host of high-performance vehicles on display. Fans can check out the new M135 and M2 as well as the M4 CS. They’ll be joined by the M3 Touring, XM Label, and Hybrid V8 race car.
If going green is more important than going fast, you can scope out the i5 Touring and i7. BMW will also be bringing the Skytop, Vision Neue Klasse, and i5 Flow Nostokana concepts.
Lastly, BMW Motorrad will be represented by the R20 concept as well as a classic R255 Kompressor. The company will also display the CE 02 and CE 04 EVs.
