• Hopefully, these two BMW drivers learned a valuable lesson about when not to do burnouts.
  • Both the M3 And M4 share the same 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder.
  • The M3 will need a new grille and bumper while the M4 needs a new tailgate, rear bumper, and diffuser.

All too often, drivers of powerful sports cars do stupid things at car meets around the world. Whether they feel the need to impress attendees at these events or simply want to stroke their own ego by showing off their skills, drivers like these often put their safety in danger and those around them. That’s exactly what the drivers of these two BMW Ms did in Ukraine.

Footage posted to Instagram captures a green BMW M4 Competition performing an extensive burnout in the center of a parking lot, with bystanders and other vehicles in close proximity. Positioned directly behind the coupe is the driver of a grey BMW M3, who eagerly joins the action, unleashing their own burnout in tandem with the M4 .

Had the drivers been more attentive and aware of their surroundings, they might have successfully executed the stunt. However, it seems the person behind the wheel of the M4 failed to notice a large black truck stopped directly in front of them, prompting a sudden brake maneuver to avoid a collision.

Similarly, the driver of the M3, possibly hindered by tire smoke, also overlooked the truck and was unable to react swiftly after the M4 abruptly came to a halt.

The four-door ends up rear-ending its two-door sibling, much to the shock of those at the event. It was quite a hefty impact, too.

The front grille of the M3 has been destroyed, much of the bumper caved in, and the hood badly bent. The damage done to the rear of the M4 is also quite severe. Significant dents are visible on the tailgate and bumper. The carbon fiber rear diffuser has also been crushed, and it looks like at least two of the tailpipes have been slightly bent.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes, am I right?
