Like most new cars, those from Mercedes-Benz typically lose value as soon as they’re driven off the showroom floor. However, the G 650 Landaulet has proven to be an exception to this, and one model penciled in for auction in July is expected to sell for between €650,000 ($698,000) and €700,000 ($752,000), slightly higher than its original €630,000 ($677,000) MSRP.
RM Sotheby’s is handling the sale of the car and says it was delivered to its first owner in March 2018. It is painted in Designo Mystic White. Mercedes only ever built 99 examples of the G 650 Landaulet, and several celebrities, including Travis Scott and Drake, are thought to have bought them.

The seller picked up the keys to this ultimate G-Class in 2021, and incredibly, it’s only been driven 172 miles (~278 km) since new. Some exterior body panels have been wrapped in paint protection film so it should continue to look as good as new for many years.
Mercedes-Benz launched the G 650 Landaulet after the insane G 63 6×6 AMG. Whereas that six-wheeler had a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, the G 650 Laundalet is equipped with the marque’s more desirable twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12, producing 630 hp and 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of twisting force. The most expensive G from the factory comes with triple locking differentials, a longer wheelbase, and portal axles to maximize ground clearance.
The interior is a wonderful place to be. Beige and black Nappa leather is abundant and passengers in the rear get a pair of reclining seats, matching cushions, and can enjoy the sun on their faces thanks to the 4×4’s retractable soft top. A thumping Harman Kardon sound system is also installed, as are velour floor mats and various AMG carbon fiber details.
Interested bidders should head over to RM Sotheby’s to place a bid.
