• This Utopia is number 30 of the 99 examples being built.
  • Its owner is billionaire businessman Tim Gillean.
  • His son, Gage Gillean, went viral in late 2020 after crashing his dad’s Huayra Roadster.

The latest Pagani Utopia has landed in the United States and joined the enviable collection of billionaire businessman Tim Gillean.

For those who don’t know, Gillean is the co-founder of investment firm Cross Equities and his son, Gage Gillean, runs the GG Exotics channel on YouTube. The Gilleans first appeared on our radar in November 2020 when Gage, then aged 17, crashed his dad’s purple carbon fiber Pagani Huayra Roadster, the only one of its kind in the world.

The family’s Utopia is just as well-equipped as their old Huayra Roadster. Its exterior is bathed in a combination of white-painted surfaces and exposed carbon fiber and looks absolutely spectacular. Various turquoise accents, including a stripe running over the center of the Italian hypercar and on the brake calipers, make it stand out further.

Plenty of custom touches have been made to the car’s interior, too. The carbon fiber-backed bucket seats are clad primarily in luscious white leather with an intricate black leather pattern through the center. Plenty of gloss satin carbon fiber is found throughout, including on the dashboard and the shift paddles. Exposed aluminum parts are abundant in the Utopia and extend across the steering wheel, gauge cluster, central control stack, and transmission tunnel.

Powering the Utopia is a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 sourced from AMG with 852 hp and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) of torque. That’s an extraordinary amount of power, considering the car only weighs 2,822 lbs (1,280 kg). Here’s hoping Gage takes more care behind the wheel of the car than his dad’s Huayra Roadster and doesn’t end up crashing it, too. The Utopia is offered with a seven-speed manual or an X-trac seven-speed automated manual – and this example has the latter.
