• The car is finished in the Green Hell Magno, which premiered on the AMG GT R.

  • Power comes from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 720 hp.

A rare 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series that’s only ever been driven 165 miles (265 km) has hit the used car marketplace in the U.S. and might just be one of the finest Black Series models we’ve ever seen.

The paint makes this AMG GT Black Series stand out from all others we’ve seen. The original owner coughed up an extra $9,900 to have it painted in AMG Green Hell Magno, the same color that debuted on the AMG GT R a few years before the launch of the Black Series. Like other Black Series models, the paint is contrasted with several exposed carbon fiber parts, including the front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, and rear wing.

This extraordinarily eye-catching Mercedes-AMG has been listed for auction through Bring a Trailer and includes two keys, a trickle charger, service records, and a clean Carfax report. It has the original 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires.

While the AMG GT Black Series is the most hardcore, performance-focused version of the sports car, the interior isn’t stripped out as you may expect from a track-focused Porsche, Lamborghini, or Ferrari. In fact, the car features heated seats trimmed in black Nappa leather with contrasting orange stitching, a Burmester sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, carbon fiber door sills, and plenty of driver-assistance systems.

Powering the car is a modified version of Mercedes-AMG’s familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, which here makes 720 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. This engine is paired to an electronically controlled limited-slip differential and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. A look at the window sticker reveals the car’s original price was $346,045, including all the options.
