Almost two years after introducing several upgrades for the Maserati MC20 coupe, Novitec expands the program to include the topless MC20 Cielo. The German tuner spices up the Italian supercar with subtle aero modifications, gold wheels, an Inconel exhaust, lowered suspension, and a power boost for the twin-turbo V6.

Novitec’s carbon fiber add-ons for the Maserati supercar include aerodynamic attachments for the splitter, intakes, and hood vents, alongside a ducktail spoiler at the back. These can be combined with various upgrades for the exhaust including the pictured system using ultra-light Inconel alloy and the optional 999 fine gold plating.

Another visual highlight is a set of 21-inch NF11 forged wheels, produced in collaboration with Vossen. In the pictured example, the wheels are finished in gold, matching the exterior accents and contrasting the gray bodywork. Of course, the rims can be painted in a wide range of colors, depending on the preferences of the owner.

As with its closed-roof twin, the Maserati MC20 Ciello can be retrofitted with yellow sport springs, bringing it closer to the ground by 25 mm (1 inch), while being compatible with the factory nose lift system. The new shoes can be combined with a set of aluminum spacers, increasing the tracks by either 28 mm (1.1 inches) or 40 mm (1.6 inches) on both axles.

Novitec’s Maserati MC20 Cielo Sports Subtle Aero, Gold Wheels, And 701 HP

The twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 Nettuno engine now makes 701 hp (523 kW / 711 PS) and 818 Nm (lb-ft) of torque. The 80 hp (60 kW / 81 PS) and 88 Nm (65 lb-ft) increase over the stock unit, was made possible thanks to the N-Tronic module and the high-performance exhaust.

According to Novitec, the power boost drops the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint down to 2.8 seconds, 0.2 seconds quicker than stock. Furthermore, top speed has been increased by 5 km/h (3 mph) to a coupe-matching 325 km/h (202 mph).

In typical Novitec fashion, the cost of the upgrades is not listed on their website, which means that interested parties have to contact the tuner directly.
