The North American Eclipse occurred in April, but Land Rover has just introduced the new Range Rover Sport Celestial Collection. It’s a series of five curations inspired by “ancient mythology and the cosmos.”
Based on the Range Rover Sport SV, each features a bespoke exterior color, unique inscriptions, and special finishes. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the lineup.

The Range Rover Sport SV Gaea draws inspiration from Greek mythology and features a Green Terre Matte exterior with a contrasting Narvik Black roof. They’re joined by carbon fiber tailpipes and Carbon Bronze brake calipers. Inside, there’s Caraway Windsor leather seats and Natural Brown Silver Birch wood trim.
The Theia Curation goes in a different direction as it has a Grey Satin exterior with metallic flakes that are “inspired by the moon.” They’re joined by 23-inch forged wheels that feature a champagne gold finish as well as black brake calipers. Rounding out the highlights are an Ebony and Pimento Windsor leather interior with gloss black trim and a satin forged carbon fiber accent on the center console.
The Io Curation is named after one of Jupiter’s moons and features a Cyllene Gloss exterior that pays tribute to Io’s more than 400 active volcanoes. The model also has a carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber tailpipes, and 23-inch carbon fiber wheels. They’re joined by Ebony and Lunar Windsor leather as well as carbon fiber trim.
The Vega Curation is named after a star in the Lyra constellation and features a Verrier Blue exterior that honors French astronomer Urban La Verrier. The model also sports an assortment of carbon fiber components including the hood, tailpipes, badges, and wheels. They’re joined by a two-tone interior with Natural Cream Ash Burr wood trim.
Last but not least is the Sol Curation, which pays tribute to the sun. As a result, it has an Aurora Yellow exterior with a contrasting black roof, black wheels, and black brake calipers. The model also has carbon fiber flourishes as well as a leather-free interior with Nano-Yellow contrast stitching.
There’s no word on pricing, but the Range Rover Sport SV has a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 with 626 hp (467 kW / 635 PS) and 553 lb-ft (749 Nm) of torque. It enables the model to rocket from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.6 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h).
According to Range Rover Managing Director Geraldine Ingham, “Today’s discerning luxury clients are looking for more than just aesthetics – we want to create vehicles with which they form personal connections and bonds. The Celestial Collection from Range Rover SV is an ethereal and unique collection of some of our most luxurious vehicles, each beautifully crafted and considered, for the clients who value meaning, spirituality and storytelling.”
