• Audi of America has dropped the A5, S5, and RS5 Coupes and Convertibles for 2025.
  • Most 2025 models receive minor equipment and pricing changes.
  • Customers will also find a facelifted Q7 and an all-new Q6 e-tron.

Audi’s aging lineup is a snooze fest, but there are some notable developments for 2025. Unfortunately, most of them aren’t very good.

The big news is the death of the A5, S5, and RS5 Coupes and Convertibles. Audi of America glossed over their fate by simply confirming the “2025 A5 family includes the A5 Sportback, S5 Sportback, and RS 5 Sportback.”

That’s a disappointing sendoff as the models were the last remaining coupes and convertibles in the lineup following the death of the TT and R8. Now, if you want a sporty looking Audi, you’ll have to settle for a crossover coupe.

Aside from those deaths, there’s not much to talk about as most models receive minor equipment changes and revised pricing. That being said, the 2025 Q7 and SQ7 get a modest facelift that includes revised bumpers, a new diffuser, and functional exhaust tips. The models also offer new wheels and color options.

Audi strangely didn’t mention the 2025 Q6 and SQ6 e-tron, which are slated to arrive in the fourth quarter. Pricing will be announced closer to launch, but the Q6 e-tron has a 100 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor all-wheel drive system producing up to 456 hp (340 kW / 462 PS). This enables the crossover to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.9 seconds, hit a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h), and travel 307 miles (494 km) on a single charge.

The SQ6 e-tron is similar, but it has an upgraded dual-motor all-wheel drive system producing up to 509 hp (380 kW / 516 PS). Thanks to the extra oomph, 60 mph (96 km/h) comes in 4.1 seconds while the top speed climbs to 143 mph (230 km/h). Unfortunately, the range also falls to 275 miles (443 km).
