- Cadillac has announced plans to offer a new Precision Package for the CT5-V Blackwing.
- The package includes a revised suspension with stiffer springs and a larger front stabilizer.
- Buyers will also find carbon ceramic brakes and an assortment of other changes.
Cadillac introduced the facelifted CT5-V Blackwing earlier this year and now the company has announced the model will be offered with a new Precision Package. It’s designed to enhance its “dynamic behavior” on the street as well as the track.
The upgrades are fairly extensive, as the package adds a larger front stabilizer, stiffer springs, and revised suspension bushings. They’re joined by new front steering knuckles as well as new rear suspension toe links that allow for “more aggressive wheel alignment for track usage.”

The Precision Package also adds a carbon ceramic braking system and a host of other refinements, including tweaks to the MagneRide dampers, steering, and electronic limited-slip differential.
Cadillac said the changes “contribute to improved steering precision into the corner apex, increased stability on corner exit, and more road feel for spirited driving situations.” The company also promised the upgrades won’t impact the “luxury and refinement” the brand is known for.
Vehicles equipped with the package will be available early next year and pricing will be announced closer to launch. That being said, the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing will begin arriving at dealers this summer.
It features revised styling and an upgraded interior with a new 33-inch curved display. The latter has Google built-in, which provides access to Google Assistant, Google Maps, and the Google Play store.
Power is provided by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with 668 hp (498 kW / 677 PS) and 659 lb-ft (892 Nm) of torque. It can be connected to either a six-speed manual or a ten-speed automatic transmission.
