Stellantis has an assortment of electric vehicles on the horizon and they’re trying to entice customers with a new incentive package. It’s a nice bonus for those looking to get a Dodge Charger Daytona, Fiat 500e, Jeep Wagoneer S, Jeep Recon, or Ram 1500 REV.
To ease the transition into electric vehicle ownership, customers will have the option of choosing between a Free2move Level 2 charger or $600 in charging station credits. The former is the better option for homeowners and the charger is valued at approximately $600.

However, installation is up to consumers. To help them out, the new Free2move Charge website has an “installation portal” where EV owners can answer some questions about their home and upload a few photos to get an estimate from Qmerit.
Stellantis says the process only takes 5-10 minutes and is “commitment-free.” If customers like what they see, they can schedule their installation and the installer will take care of any necessary permits.
For customers who don’t own a home, the Go Package is their best bet. It provides $600 in credit that can be used at public charging stations across the country. Stellantis didn’t go into many specifics, but said eligible chargers can be located using the new Free2move Charge app.
The automaker went on to say “customers will have access to more than 75,000 charging networks across the United States, including ChargePoint, Shell Recharge and EVgo.” Ionna stations will also be supported when they come online later this year.
Besides the new incentive program, Stellantis is trying to educate consumers about EVs. The automaker says their Free2move Charge app and website will support customers “before, through and after the buying process, educating and helping them understand battery-electric vehicles and the charging options available to them.”
The site is pretty basic at this point, but it highlights the benefits of Level 2 charging and suggests the Free2move charger delivers up to 9.6 kW of power and has a 25 foot (7.6 meter) cord.
