While we’ve only just about got all the fat jokes out of our system, BMW is forging ahead with its latest M5, showing off the 717-hp M-hybrid sedan across the world. It started with the G90-generation M5 being unveiled at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed earlier this month, but for the U.S. stop on the agenda, BMW is cooking up something a little more special.
Set to be unveiled at Pebble Beach Automotive Week, the 2025 BMW M5 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance #1/1 -to give it its full title- is a one-off collaboration between BMW M and BMW Individual. It’ll be auctioned off on Friday, August 16.

The one-of-one BMW M5 is finished in the now-discontinued BMW Individual Frozen Orange. Despite BMW saying it’s a “stunning” color, it evidently wasn’t stunning enough (or perhaps it was too stunning?) to keep it around as an option. The fact that the color has been taken off the menu means that this is guaranteed to be the only 2025 M5 painted in this color from the factory.
The exterior is further distinguished from “run-of-the-mill” M5s with 20- and 21-inch M Dual-Spoke Bicolor wheels. The rims feature hand-painted orange accents, while the brake calipers are finished in matte gold.
Once you step inside, you’ll find another interesting and unique combination of colors: Kyalami Orange is paired with Silverstone Extended Merino leather to create a rather striking combination, while the headrests have the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance logo emblazoned on them.
More Pebble Beach logos are found inside, including on the front door sills, and to the right of the infotainment screen. They’re also accompanied by a #1/1 motif to remind the winning bidder that this is a truly individual BMW.
What’s the value of all this? Well, with the customization and the other extras, which include the M Driver’s Package (taking the M5’s top speed up to 190 mph), Executive, and Carbon packages, BMW says an extra $57,000 has been added to the MSRP. Oh, and the winner will also get a 1-day high-performance driving class at a BMW Performance Center thrown in for good measure.
Poll: Which BMW M5 Generation Is The Best?
Not only will the car be a one-of-one, but it’ll also mark the first North American-delivered G90-generation M5 when it makes its way to its new home in October. In the meantime, the car will be auctioned by Gooding & Company on Friday, August 16, and proceeds above the car’s MSRP will be donated to the Concours’ charitable partner, the Pebble Beach Company Foundation.
