- JE Design upgrades the design and chassis of the facelifted Cupra Leon and Formentor.
- The kit includes aerodynamic extensions, 20-inch alloy wheels, and a lowered suspension.
- More upgrades are already in the works and will be available this autumn.
Cupra recently introduced a mid-lifecycle update for the Leon and the closely related Formentor, featuring new and more aggressive styling. German tuner JE Design, which specializes in Seat and Cupra models, was the first to upgrade the facelifted models, adding subtle aero tweaks, new wheels, and lowering springs.
JE Design published photos of a 2025 Cupra Leon fitted with their tuning kit. The visual highlight is the 20-inch Copper-R alloy wheels, which are showcased in two different designs – Lucca and Rubi. The bi-tone rims are shod in 235/30 R 20 tires but they are also available in smaller sizes (18 and 19 inches).

The bodykit for the Cupra Leon is limited to a two-piece splitter at the front, faux side gills on the front fenders, side skirts, and a two-piece rear spoiler. The add-ons are finished in gloss black and look like they could be installed right from the factory.
Other available parts include the carbon covers for the mirror caps, and a protective trim piece on the base of the tailgate coming with a gloss black or matt silver finish. Both of these options can be easily installed by the owners, as they come pre-installed with adhesive tape.
JE Design said that “further customization components are already in the works and should be available in autumn 2024”.
The tuner could also offer the massive rear wing found in the pre-facelifted Cupra Leon, together with an updated version of their Widebody RS kit components. After all, the design of the Leon hasn’t changed that much, meaning that most of the existing components are already compatible with the facelift.
Last but not least, the tuner offers a set of lowering springs, bringing the Cupra Leon closer to the ground by 30 mm (1.2 inches). The facelifted Cupra Leon and Formentor are available with a mild-hybrid turbo 1.5-liter, a more potent turbo 2.0-liter, and two plug-in hybrid setups but JR Design left those untouched.
