- The facelifted 2025MY Civic Si keeps the manual-only transmission option.
- The updated model features a refreshed exterior and a larger infotainment display.
- The 2025 MY Civic Si features a stiffer chassis and expanded rev-matching tech.
The mildly refreshed 2025 Honda Civic Si has been unveiled, and it features tweaked styling, an improved interior, and a sharper chassis.
Perhaps the biggest relief to those who prefer to row their own is that the Civic Si’s manual-only six-speed transmission configuration is still present in the facelifted model. The MSRP jumps $850 to $29,950 ($31,045 with destination).

While the Civic Si can, for better or worse, be considered a bit of a “Type-R-lite,” the fact that it retains its signature six-speed – the only car in its class to do so, says Honda – should tell you all you need to know about who the car is being targeted at: enthusiasts.
As such, bigger power figures clearly weren’t the priority. The Civic Si retains the same turbocharged 1.5-liter engine, rated at 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. The highlight of the 2025 update is the changes to the car’s handling.
Honda promises that the new Civic Si is “the most fun-to-drive Si we’ve ever offered to our customers.” The new model features a stiffer chassis, including new lower B-pillar and rear door sill supports while the dampers have been recalibrated accordingly. While there’s no quantifiable measure, Honda says the changes increase torsional and bending rigidity.
And, while, to most, a manual transmission is decidedly old-tech, the 2025 Civic Si manages to improve things by expanding its rev-matching functionality. Previously, the car would auto-blip on downshifts up to second, but now the Civic Si will further play ball by blipping the throttle when shifting from second to first, further adding to the character of the model.
Exterior And Interior Tweaks
The visual changes mimic what we’ve already seen on the facelifted Civic, unveiled in May. The front bumper has been reprofiled, with the lower grille now adopting a slightly different shape, featuring a hex-pattern grille. The foglight apertures have been slimmed down, too, with less fussy black plastic and a cleaner aesthetic.
The Si-specific wheels have been redesigned too. It’s a subtle change, with both options coming in matte black, but the double-spoke design has a few more edges to it, arguably making it look a bit sportier, if not as “clean” as the earlier look.
Meanwhile, the interior gets a smattering of updates. There are USB-C ports and an Android Auto and Apple CarPlay-compatible infotainment system accessed through a larger 9-inch touchscreen display introduced to the high-spec 2025 Civic. Just like the Sport Touring Hybrid trim, the Si will get Google Assistant baked in, allowing you to take advantage of Google Maps and more from the Play Store.
Further tech-ish upgrades include Si-exclusive graphics for its 10.2-inch driver display. With the car’s manual-only configuration, it’s no surprise to find a large tachometer in place. But you now get a shift light for those traffic-light-to-traffic-light drag races. You’ll also get a boost gauge and a G-force gauge for extra info on what’s happening beneath you. Last but not least, the “body-hugging” sports seats now come heated as standard.
Pricing and Availability
The 2025 Honda Civic Si will go on sale in early August with a starting MSRP of $29,950 (excluding a $1,095 destination charge). Optional high-performance summer tires are available for an extra $300.
