German tuner GeigerCars is celebrating its 45th anniversary with a limited edition Chevrolet Corvette Stingray that offers more performance and eye-catching styling.
GeigerCars started its upgrades with the engine. The 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 has now been tuned to deliver an impressive 522 hp and 481 lb-ft (652 Nm) of torque. The extra power was gained through a new intake manifold, a revised throttle body, and modified engine software. These parts have been complemented by the Z51 Corvette’s performance exhaust system.

GeigerCars bolstered the braking system with new six-piston calipers at the front clamping down on 14.8-inch (378 mm) rotors, while the rear receives 13.9-inch (355 mm) rotors. Braided brake lines complete the package. To ensure better handling, KW V5 Clubsport coilovers have been fitted.
Also new are a set of OZ Ultraleggera HLT wheels finished in a beautiful bronze finish, which perfectly contrasts the dark green paint of the show car. A new carbon fiber front splitter, rear lip spoiler, and air ducts further enhance the car’s aggressive aesthetic.
The Corvette’s interior has been upgraded to feel a little more special. The seats are now adorned in new light beige leather, while other areas trimmed in black upholstery have light beige contrast stitching.
The company described the special Corvette C8 Stingray 45th as a limited edition model but hasn’t said how many it intends to build. What we do know is that each will start at €149,900 (~$162,000) in the German market.
