Building cars is hard, just ask Fisker. But hey, at least they have (or rather, had) economies of scale. Now, picture doing the same but with a custom one-off vehicle that wants to look like a factory model. One intrepid soul, however, seems to be on the verge of achieving just that, with a custom 2-door Tesla gracing their garage – a feat that’s equal parts impressive and slightly terrifying.
That man is David Andreyev, the creator behind the YouTube channel Cyber Hooligan. His latest project is the CyberRoadster and as the name suggests, it’s a mashup of two very celebrated Tesla products—the production Cybertruck and the upcoming Roadster.
It also happens to rest atop the chassis of a Tesla Model 3. This is a Performance variant so in the end, it should be pretty dang quick.

The body looks a little busy in spots, but good overall, especially considering it’s a homebrew. Making a car like this work on the road requires effective lighting too. Andreyev could’ve simply slapped on a bunch of parts-bin pieces to accomplish that goal but he went way way further.
He obtained the real light bar from a Lexus and in the video below, shows us how he blended it with real Model 3 tail light elements.
The result is a running light that looks great and fully functional brake, turn signal, and reverse lights. What’s even better is that because they’re Model 3 lights, they work with the native system seamlessly. Of course, none of this is simple, easy, or cheap. The process is a labor of love but Andreyev seems very committed to it.
That’s the kind of passion that it takes to add what he says are “several hundred” splices to the wiring to make sure it all works properly. We can’t wait to see the finished product.
