- Karma has teased the GT-UV concept ahead of its debut on August 16.
- The vehicle previews the company’s new design language, which is called “Comet Line.”
- The company will also introduce a second vehicle on August 16, but little is known about it.
If you’ve forgotten about Karma Automotive, we don’t blame you as they’ve largely been flying under the radar since hitting the ‘reset button’ last fall. However, they’re coming out of the woodwork to tease two new vehicles.
Set to be unveiled at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, on August 16, the vehicles promise to be a glimpse into the future. The company is keeping details under wraps, but confirmed one of the mystery models is the “GT-UV Design Study.”

Karma didn’t say much about it, but confirmed the concept will wear a new design language known as “Comet Line.” That’s not much to go on, but the name and images suggest we’re looking at a sleek crossover with an expansive windshield that flows into a glass roof, similar to the Lucid Gravity.
We can also see a ‘sectioned’ hood and headlights that give off a Hyundai Ioniq 6 vibe. They’re joined by illuminated Karma lettering as well as a ‘crosshair’ motif that echoes the one found on the Kaveya.
Little else is known about the concept or the mysterious second vehicle, but Karma has repositioned itself as an “ultra-luxury vehicle company.” As Karma President Marques McCammon explained earlier this year, “We are on a journey to carve a niche in the ultra-luxury sector, fulfill our potential, deliver vehicles on time and push the company to greater heights.”
At the time, McCammon stated “Karma is not about the mass market. Not everyone will own a Karma, but if we do our job right, we will be the car that is in everyone’s dreams.”
Update: Karma has revealed the second vehicle is a Kaveya with a “production-ready interior.”
