The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic Coupe has been around since 2020, so some owners might feel the need for an upgrade. Manhart is here for them with the new GER 800 project, adding a wide bodykit, bigger wheels, louder exhaust, lowered suspension, and a pretty healthy power increase to the performance SUV.

Starting with the powertrain, AMG‘s twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 now delivers an impressive 789 hp (588 kW / 800 PS) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque, all thanks to an additional electric compressor, alongside upgrades to the turbos, ECU, and exhaust system.

This represents an increase of 186 hp (138 kW / 188 PS) and 150 Nm (111 lb-ft) compared to the stock model, mirroring the specs of the rival Brabus 800 SUV Coupe. Besides the extra power, the GER 800 also benefits from a louder exhaust, with OPF-Delete Sport downpipes and two 300-cell catalytic converters.

Predictably, the exterior of the GLE has been significantly modified to let everyone know of its improved performance. The carbon fiber bits are penned by TopCar Design and include wide fender extensions and matching inserts for the front and rear bumpers. The coupe-SUV also benefits from an extended ducktail spoiler and a vented hood.

Manhart added a set of yellow decals, contrasting with the bare carbon and the matt dark green bodywork of their display car. The GER 800 rides on a new set of 23-inch Manhart Concave One alloy wheels, featuring a satin black finish and yellow trim strips. The mixed tires measure 285/35ZR23 at the front, and 325/30ZR23 at the rear.

The performance flagship of the GLE Coupe range already comes with a lowered stance from Mercedes-AMG, but Manhart tweaked its air suspension, bringing it closer to the ground by an additional 30 mm (1.2 inches). The tuner said that a similar reduction in ground clearance could also be achieved by using new coupling rods.

The interior is of course not left untouched, with a heavy dose of yellow stitching contrasting the black Alcantara and leather upholstery. Manhart emblems can be found on the headrests and floor mats, with plenty of carbon fiber inserts around the cabin.

Manhart’s modifications for the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic+ Coupe are not yet listed on the online shop so we don’t know the cost of the GER 800. Still, interested parties can always contact the tuner directly, to discuss a variety of options for their coupe-SUV.
