• The McLaren Artura benefits from visual, chassis, and performance upgrades by Novitec.
  • The electrified supercar now features a carbon fiber bodykit, including a Koenigsegg-style rear wing.
  • Novitec has also boosted the combined output of the hybrid powertrain to 725 hp (541 kW / 735 PS).

The McLaren Artura is pretty much as exotic as it gets when it comes to the “entry-level” supercar segment, but Novitec stepped in to add some spice. The tuner went crazier than usual with its carbon fiber bits, adding a sizeable wing at the back, alongside the usual power increase, custom exhaust, new wheels, and lowering springs.

Let’s start by addressing the elephant in the room, aka that whale-tail spoiler. The vertical fins/supports are reminiscent of Koenigsegg, giving hypercar looks to McLaren’s entry-level supercar as they stretch from the D-pillars to the rear end. Those who want something more subtle, can opt just for the lip spoiler but why settle when you can have both?

Novitec’s carbon-fiber bodykit for the baby McLaren also includes a prominent splitter at the front, a new hood made of exposed carbon fiber, matching gurney flaps, two-piece side skirts with integrated fins, a garnish for the side intakes, and aerodynamic extensions for the rear bumper. Interior upgrades can include leather and Alcantara upholstery in any desired color.

The modified Artura rides on a new set of alloy wheels made by Vossen, measuring 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the back. For a more planted stance, the supercar is brought closer to the ground by 20 mm (0.8 inches), with the help of Novitec’s custom-tuned sports springs.

Setting aside the visual and chassis upgrades, the tuner wanted to make the McLaren Artura louder and more powerful. This is why they added their signature Novitec Race high-performance exhaust system, which can be made from stainless steel or Inconel, with optional 999 fine gold plating and custom tailpipes.

The exhaust not only enhances the sound experience but also increases the power output of the engine. More specifically, the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 gains a claimed power bump of around 35 hp (26 kW / 35 hp), resulting in a combined output of 725 hp (541 kW / 735 PS) from the Artura’s plug-in hybrid system.

Novitec didn’t announce the cost of the upgrades, but each component is individually available, so you can gradually improve your build based on your budget.
