• Roush Performance has introduced a new supercharger kit for the 2024 Ford Mustang GT.

Roush Performance and Magnuson Superchargers have joined forces to create a new supercharger kit for the 2024 Ford Mustang GT. It promises Mustang GTD levels of performance for a fraction of the price.

Jumping right into the numbers, the kit enables the pony car to produce 810 hp (604 kW / 821 PS) and 630 lb-ft (853 Nm) of torque. That’s an increase of 330 hp (246 kW / 335 PS) and 195 lb-ft (264 Nm). It’s also worth noting the horsepower gain is more than the output of the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine.

While Roush didn’t provide a cut and dry parts list, they said the supercharger is “based on an inverted Eaton TVS R2650 with a front inlet, dual intercoolers and an 84mm pulley, which makes a peak boost of 13 psi at 7,500 rpm.” The kit also appears to include a Bosch PCE intercooler pump, a large heat exchanger, billet fuel rails, and “twin cone fuel injectors with optimized director plates.”

Other highlights include custom hardware, hoses, and a degas bottle. They’re joined by Ford Performance spark plugs and a Roush Performance calibration.

The kit is being launched in Limited Edition Phase 2 guise with a $9,995 price tag. That isn’t cheap, but buyers will find proprietary Phase 2 tuning as well as “Jack Roush’s signature prominently laser-etched on the head unit.”

If that doesn’t float your boat, you can wait for the standard Phase 1 and Phase 2 kits that will be available later this year. There’s no word on pricing, but the kits work with both automatic and manual transmissions.
