- Porsche offers five special Chromaflair colors, including one known as Explosive Gold.
- The interior of this 911 Turbo S rocks plush leather in three different colors.
- Inspiration for the car’s design was taken from a special 959 built in the late 1980s.
Porsche’s Paint to Sample program offers one of the most comprehensive color palettes of any carmaker, but for some customers, it’s not enough. If that’s the case, they may choose from one of the five ‘Chromaflair’ colors that Porsche offers, all of which carry six-figure price tags.
The following 911 Turbo S is an exclusive model commissioned through the Sonderwunsch department by Guglielmo Miani, the head of the Italian luxury brand Larusmiani. It takes inspiration from one of four Porsche 959s that the carmaker built for a special customer in the late 1980s and is probably one of the priciest 911 Turbo S models ever built.

The color adorning the car is known as Urban Bamboo. As a ‘Chromaflair’ color, Porsche applies no less than five coats of paint, including a top coat that features wafer-thin pigments, meaning the color shifts depending on the angle and the light.
The four other Chromeflair colors offered by Porsche are Python Green, Magic Magenta, Shifting Carbon, and Explosive Gold. Unlike other Porsche models we’ve seen in these colors, the wheels of this Turbo S have been painted to match the body.
Other custom touches have been made. For example, a tri-color line runs along the shoulders of the sports car, combining shades of Rock Green metallic, Jet Green Metallic, and Anthracite Brown Metallic. This special theme continues into the cabin, where the same three shades are found across the leather surfaces, including the seats and door panels.
While Porsche hasn’t said how much Miani paid for this 911 Turbo S, it says it has almost 50 unique touches ordered through the Sonderwunsch program. Here’s hoping the owner has the car wrapped in a high-quality paint protection film and drives it, allowing the rest of the world to enjoy it, too.
