Power is provided by a dual motor all-wheel drive system that produces 456 hp (340 kW / 462 PS) and 404 lb-ft (547 Nm) of torque. However, a PowerShot feature can increase the output to 496 hp (370 kW / 503 PS) for 15 seconds at a time.
This setup enables the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.7 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 137 mph (220 km/h). The 100.5 kWh battery pack also promises to deliver a range of 317 miles (510 km).
Scat Pack Offers 670 HP For $73,190
Buyers with a need for speed can upgrade to the $73,190 Charger Daytona Scat Pack, which has 630 hp (470 kW / 637 PS) and 627 lb-ft (849 Nm) of torque. Like in the R/T, there’s a PowerShot function and it cranks the output to 670 hp (500 kW / 679 PS).
This enables the Dodge to rocket from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.3 seconds and run the quarter-mile in an estimated 11.5 seconds. However, the top speed falls to 134 mph (216 km/h) while the range plummets to 260 miles (418 km/h).
Besides the upgraded powertrain, the Scat Pack has additional drive modes, a Line Lock function, and Launch Control. Buyers will also find a standard Track Pack, which includes 20-inch aluminum wheels, a gloss black rear spoiler, a dual valve adaptive damping suspension, and a Brembo braking system with red calipers.
Buyers will also find an upgraded interior with leather and suede performance seats, heated rear seats, a head-up display, and a 16-inch digital instrument cluster. There’s also a Drive eXperience Recorder, which can record videos as well as provide “synchronized logging of audio, video and vehicle data.”
