• Audi has introduced new styling packages for the Q8 e-tron in Europe.
  • The S Line Competition package makes the standard model look like the SQ8 e-tron and includes a host of upgrades.
  • The SQ8 e-trons offer a new Carbon Style package, which adds an assortment of carbon fiber components.

Audi wants to kill the Q8 e-tron, but that hasn’t stopped the company from introducing new S Line Competition and Carbon Style packages. They’re designed to give the Q8 and SQ8 e-trons a sporty new flair.

Starting with the S Line Competition package, it’s styled to make the Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron look like their SQ8 counterparts. In order to do this, the crossovers are equipped with a widebody kit and exclusive 21-inch wheels featuring a black finish. The latter are backed up by black brake calipers that sport S logos.

Rounding out the highlights are a body-color Singleframe grille and LED projection lights that are integrated into the doors. They’re joined by an adaptive air sport suspension and a handful of carbon fiber components including the mirror caps, front air curtains, and door trim.

Those same carbon fiber components can be added to the SQ8 and SQ8 Sportback e-trons via the Carbon Style package. It costs €2,990 in Germany, while the S Line Competition package retails for €7,190.

Whereas fans will likely appreciate the new packages, they likely won’t do much to boost sales. That’s a problem as Audi has previously complained about an “intensified drop in demand” for the Q8 e-tron lineup. This has them “considering the early end of production” as well as the possible closure of the Brussels plant.
