- Chevrolet has announced the High Country trim is returning on the 2025 Traverse.
- It stands out with updated styling, leather seats, and a 10-speaker Bose audio system.
- Power is provided by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 328 hp.
The redesigned Traverse is a hot commodity as it’s the “fastest turning vehicle” in the Chevrolet lineup. The crossover only spent an average of 12 days on dealer lots last month, which meant it sold even quicker than the Corvette. That’s impressive and Chevrolet noted the number was only eight days in April, May, and June.
The bow tie brand is looking to keep that momentum going by introducing the 2025 Traverse, which sees the return of the luxurious High Country trim. Chevrolet hasn’t released pictures, but told us the range-topping variant has special badging and 22-inch aluminum wheels with a gloss black finish. The model also features animated lighting sequences as you approach and leave the vehicle.

Moving inside, buyers will find heated and ventilated leather front seats, an ambient lighting system, and a 10-speaker Bose premium audio system. They’ll be joined by a power-folding third row as well as a one-touch folding second row.
Customers will also find the Convenience, Driver Confidence, and Enhanced Driving packages. Chevrolet didn’t go into specifics, but these should add Super Cruise, a rear camera mirror, and enhanced automatic parking assist – among other things.
We can also expect an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and a 17.7-inch infotainment system. The latter features Google built-in, which provides access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play Store.
Rounding out the highlights is an “uplevel suspension” and a standard trailering equipment package. The latter includes a hitch and cover as well as hitch view and hitch guidance technology.
Under the hood, there’s a familiar turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 328 hp (245 kW / 333 PS) and 326 lb-ft (442 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.
Pricing will be announced shortly, but expect the High Country to slot above the Traverse RS, which begins at $55,595 for 2024.
