Genesis introduced the facelifted G80 last fall and now the brand is gearing up to launch it in America. As part of this effort, they’ve announced pricing will begin at $57,100.
Costing $2,700 more than last year’s model, the 2025 G80 sports an evolutionary design with revised fascias and updated wheels. They’re joined by a revamped color palette and new Micro Lens Array LED headlights.

Bigger changes occur inside as the model adopts a new dashboard and an expansive 27-inch OLED display. Buyers will also find a new steering wheel, a revised center console, and updated switchgear.
In terms of equipment, the entry-level G80 2.5T AWD has rain-sensing wipers and a hands-free “smart trunk” with an auto open function. The model also has 18-inch alloy wheels and power-folding mirrors with integrated Genesis puddle lamps.
The interior comes nicely equipped with leatherette upholstery, piano black trim, and heated seats in both rows. They’re joined by a heated power steering wheel, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, and a 64-color ambient lighting system. Other highlights include a 12-speaker audio system, a fingerprint authentication system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink.
Buyers will find an alphabet soup of driver assistance systems including Smart Cruise Control, Highway Driving Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Lane Keeping / Lane Following Assist. Other safety features include Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Assist, and High Beam Assist.
Power is provided by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 300 hp (224 kW / 305 PS) and 311 lb-ft (421 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which is paired to a standard all-wheel drive system.
Buyers looking for something more luxurious can upgrade to the $61,900 G80 2.5T Advanced AWD. It features a lightly revised exterior with a panoramic sunroof and larger 19-inch alloy wheels.
More meaningful changes occur inside as the model has matte wood trim, ventilated front seats, and a tri-zone automatic climate control system. The Advanced trim also has a power rear sunshade and a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system.
Customers looking for something a little more fun can opt for the G80 2.5T Sport Prestige AWD, which begins at $68,350. It’s distinguished by sportier bumpers, a visible dual exhaust system, and larger 20-inch wheels. The upgrades are more than just show as the model comes equipped with “sport tuning,” beefier brakes, and an electronically controlled suspension with road preview technology.
The sporty styling continues inside as the model has alloy pedals, aluminum trim, and leather upholstery. They’re joined by an Ergo-Motion driver’s seat, a wireless smartphone charger, and digital key technology.
Last but not least, there are additional driver assistant systems including a Blind-Spot View Monitor, a Surround View Monitor, and Advanced Rear Occupant Alert. The model also has Remote Smart Parking Assist as well as upgraded parking warning and collision avoidance systems.
If the turbocharged four-cylinder engine leaves you asking for more, you can upgrade to the $69,600 G80 3.5T Sport Advanced AWD. It has a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 developing 375 hp (280 kW / 380 PS) and 391 lb-ft (530 Nm) of torque. Otherwise, the model largely echoes the G80 2.5T Sport Prestige AWD.
That brings us to the range-topping G80 3.5T Sport Prestige AWD, which begins at $77,000. It’s the coolest of the bunch thanks to a sport-tuned electronically controlled suspension, an electronic limited-slip differential, and performance brakes. They’re joined by rear wheel steering and a special Sport+ drive mode.
The interior hasn’t been forgotten as drivers will find Nappa leather seats, carbon fiber trim, and a micro-suede headliner. The model also has a heated front center console armrest, a head-up display, and additional driver assistance systems.
