The Kia Forte GT is being replaced by the Kia K4 GT-Line Turbo, hinting that the GT label might be reserved for a full-blown performance model. The flagship GT-Line Turbo is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, producing a slightly detuned 190 hp (142 kW / 193 PS) and 195 lb-ft (264 Nm) of torque.

The rest of the Kia K4 lineup is offered with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter engine delivering 147 hp (110 kW / 149 PS) and 132 lb-ft (179 Nm) of torque. Furthermore, the sporty GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo grades are the only ones with multi-link rear suspension.

Deliveries of the 2025 Kia K4 in the US market will begin in September 2024. The GT-Line will follow in November 2024, while the flagship GT-Line Turbo is expected early next year. While Kia has remained mum on a hatchback variant, we anticipate its arrival in the coming months, adding another option to the K4 lineup.
