• Three Dodge Challenger Hellcats were stolen from Wally Armour on August 21.
  • The Ohio dealer is offering a $10k reward for information leading to an arrest.
  • The suspects caused “extensive damage” to several other vehicles and the building.

The Dodge Challenger Hellcat theft epidemic shows no signs of slowing down in the US. In the latest episode, three more Hellcats were snatched from Ohio’s Wally Armour Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, and Ram dealership. The dealer, clearly fed up, is now offering a $10,000 reward for any tips that lead to the arrest of these brazen thieves and the return of the stolen muscle cars.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, August 21, when the suspects made off with three Hellcats from the dealer lot in Alliance, Ohio. CCTV footage captures them dressed in black, masked, and gloved, crawling around the vehicles on the premises. Another image shows four individuals in hoodies lurking in the lot.

After the theft, Wally Armour took to Facebook, asking for help in identifying the suspects. The post mentioned that the thieves caused “extensive damage” to several other vehicles and the building while making off with the trio of Dodge Challengers—two gray and one white Hellcat.

The Ohio dealer is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads “to an arrest, felony conviction, and recovery of the vehicles”. If you have any tips, you can send them to stolenvehicle[at]wallyarmour.com.

According to the police report, officers received a call about the thefts at 7:11 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a broken showroom window and three Jeep Grand Cherokees that had been moved.

The Canton-based newspaper The Repository reports that an employee at a nearby convenience store spotted three masked men refueling three Challengers with Wally Armour license plates at 6:50 a.m.

Hopefully, the police can track down the suspects using security camera footage. Then again, there’s a decent chance those Hellcats are already in pieces and scattered across various chop shops, making recovery next to impossible.
