- Zayn Sofuoglu, a 5-year-old, set a new speed record in a Lamborghini Revuelto.
- The toddler went viral last year for doing donuts in a Ferrari SF90 Stradale.

Max Verstappen made motorsport history in 2015 when he became the youngest driver to ever compete in Formula 1 at just 17 years old. However, if a Turkish five-year-old named Zayn Sofuoglu continues what he’s doing and reaches the pinnacle of the sport, he could make Verstappen seem like an old-timer.
You may have heard of Sofuoglu before. In early 2023, he set the internet alight when his parents posted a video online of him doing donuts in a Ferrari SF90 Stradale at just three years old. Since then, he’s continued his motorsport adventures on two and four wheels and recently, was handed the keys to a Lamborghini Revuelto and let loose.

To drive the mighty plug-in hybrid supercar, Sofuoglu sits in a baby seat and the throttle and brake pedals have been extended so he can reach them. With his proud dad sitting in the passenger seat, the five-year-old pushed the Lamborghini through to 194 mph (312 km/h) on an empty runway.
That doesn’t just make him faster than any other kid his age but also means he’s now driven a car faster than most adult drivers ever will.
To celebrate the high-speed run, Zayn performed a set of impressive donuts in the Revuelto, spinning up the rear wheels and letting that glorious 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 sing.
Zayn’s dad is former professional motorcycle racer Kenan Sofuoglu. He claimed five world titles in the Supersport World Championship, racking up 43 wins and 84 podium finishes in the process. In 2010 and 2011 he also competed in Moto2, but failed to make it into MotoGP, the top echelon of the sport.
He’s clearly passed his love of motorsport onto his son, who has already enjoyed plenty of success in go-karting and motorcycle racing. Heck, he can ski and snowboard, too.
