Ford has rolled out an optional high-performance upgrade for the Ranger Raptor and Bronco Raptor models, boosting both power and torque.

Thanks to a software calibration from Ford Performance Parts, the twin-turbo 3.0-liter EcoBoost engine employed by the US-spec Raptor-badged models is boosted to 455 hp (339 kW / 461 PS) and 536 lb-ft (727 Nm) of torque.

This represents 50 hp (37 kW) and 106 lb-ft (144 Nm) increase for the Ranger Raptor and a 37 hp (28 kW) and 96 lb-ft (130 Nm) boost for the Bronco Raptor, extracting the same level of performance for the mechanically-related models. Furthermore, the kit improves throttle response and optimizes gearshifts, for a more engaging driving experience.

The calibration can be purchased online for $825, before being installed at a local dealership. It is compatible with the 2024 Ranger Raptor and the 2023-2024 Bronco Raptor models, and is covered by a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty.

The Raptor Rally is a one-day event, taking place near the Ford Performance Racing School in Fairfield, Utah, on September 21 . The cost for participating is $500, including a pass for the vehicle, the owner, and one guest. The schedule includes trail rides, expert workshops, meets and greets with professional off-road racers, hot laps, meals, and giveaways.
