• The new discount arrives a few months after prices for the 2024 Maybach range were increased.
  • A Maybach version of the Mercedes-Benz SL will be unveiled later this month.
  • Prices for the most basic Maybach S-Class start at just under $200,000.

If you’re the type of person who can walk into a Mercedes-Benz dealer and purchase a brand new Maybach model, there’s a good chance you have a bank account that’s bursting at the seams and can happily spend on luxuries that most could only ever dream of. However, this doesn’t mean you don’t appreciate a good deal, and that’s exactly what Mercedes is offering to Maybach buyers until the end of September.

The German carmaker’s Star Loyalty Bonus Program, which usually offers discounts ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 for regular models, has been extended to include the 2024 line-up of Maybachs. Those who use the program can get a discount of up to $20,000.

Importantly, not everyone who buys a new Maybach in the U.S. is eligible to receive the discount. Shoppers must already be leasing a current Mercedes model that matures between June 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024. Additionally, the new Maybach needs to be purchased or leased through Mercedes-Benz Financial by September 30, 2024.

Cars Direct says the discount is the first seen for Maybach models since January, when the GLS was available with a $5,000 rebate if purchased with a two-tone paint scheme.

While we’re sure those select few after a new Maybach will appreciate saving up to $20,000, prices have been increased across the Maybach range for the 2024 model year. Prices for the S 580 jumped by $4,900 to $198,300, while Mercedes also increased prices of the flagship S 680 by $5,300 to $222,900.

Later this month, Mercedes will unveil the new Maybach SL during Monterey Car Week. The vehicle will be more luxurious than the standard SL and likely retain the same twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 as the current SL 63.
