Designing a vehicle that looks just as good from the rear as from the front is no easy feat. However, Chinese brand Neta has done just that with the estate version of its S sedan, unveiled before customer deliveries begin next month.
The Neta brand has been brought to life by Hozon Auto, and the Neta S estate is officially known as the ‘Hunting Edition.’ Designers have opted for a sleek shooting brake design that shares much of its styling with the sedan but looks more refined with an extended roofline and revised rear fascia.

Few changes have been made to the front of the car, meaning it continues to rock slim LED headlights and DRLs alongside triangular air intakes finished in black and a large lower grille. The sedan has a somewhat odd fastback shape at the rear, but by lengthening the roof and adding a large spoiler and a more upright rear window, Neta has tied both ends together. The taillights are the same as those on the sedan and are connected by a full-width LED light bar.
Local media reports the Neta S Hunting Edition is 4,980 mm (196 inches) long, 1,980 mm (77.9 inches) wide, and stands 1,480 mm (58.2 inches) tall with a 2,980 mm (117.3-inch) wheelbase. It comes with 20-inch wheels as standard.
Both battery-electric and range-extender versions of the car will be available. The range-extender features a small 1.5-liter engine with 94 hp supplemented by a 268 hp electric motor. Sizeable 31.71 kWh and 43.88 kWh battery packs will be offered, and depending on specification, the EREV will be good for between 125 km (78 miles) and 185 km (115 miles) of all-electric range.
Those who want to drive around emissions-free will have two BEV versions available. The base model has a 268 hp electric motor driving the rear wheels, while the flagship model adds a 228 hp motor to the front. Details about the available battery packs haven’t been published, but the sedan offers six different options, ranging from 64.5 kWh to 91 kWh. Similar options can be expected for the Hunting Edition.
