- Pininfarina will unveil a custom-built car for a Battista owner at Monterey Car Week.
- The new model is described as an “entirely new vehicle” with a unique design.
- At last year’s event, Pininfarina unveiled the wild B95 Hyper Barchetta.
Monterey Car Week is fast approaching and this year’s event will attract an incredible array of high-end exotics and customer creations. One of them will be from Automobili Pininfarina, and it has been previewed with a single teaser image.
The mystery model is a coachbuilt one-off commissioned by an existing owner of the all-electric Battista hypercar. Pininfarina described it as an “entirely new vehicle,” indicating it’s been built from the ground up, adding it’s been built to “stand out as a design and technical statement.”

The teaser is a bit of a mystery, and it’s hard to decipher what part of the car it’s depicting. We can see that it is painted in a shade of satin silver and appears to sport an illuminated Pininfarina badge. It also looks to support a small ribbon of red light.
“Delivering our first coach-built creation to a client is an exceptionally exciting milestone for the brand,” Automobili Pininfarina Paolo Dellacha said. “With it, we are delivering on the promise we made in Monterey exactly 12 months ago as we unveiled the B95 Hyper Barchetta – that we have the design, engineering and artisan production skills in Cambiano, Italy to create bespoke, coach-built ‘one-of-one’ masterpieces for our clients. One year later, this amazing car gives us another chance to celebrate our ability to make their dreams come true.”
This one-off won’t be the only car shown by Pininfarina in Monterey. The week-long festivities will also host a Battista Owner’s Parade that’s scheduled to feature 10 of the ballistic electric hypercars.
