The era of the electric muscle car has arrived as dealers are accepting orders for the Dodge Charger Daytona. Customers who act fast can expect their car to arrive in the fourth quarter of this year.
The company is directing customers to use the Horsepower Locator tool on DodgeGarage.com to find dealers “who have a new Dodge Charger Daytona headed their way or can help place an order.” The disastrous tool, which still hasn’t been updated to account for the 2025 Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead that was announced last week, is showing most dealers only have one or two “orders available.”

Regardless, the $59,595 Charger Daytona R/T has a dual motor all-wheel drive system that produces 456 hp (340 kW / 462 PS) and 404 lb-ft (547 Nm) of torque. However, a PowerShot feature can increase the output to 496 hp (370 kW / 503 PS) for 15 seconds at a time. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.7 seconds, hit a top speed of 137 mph (220 km/h), and travel 317 miles (510 km) on a single charge.
Upgrading to the $73,190 Charger Daytona Scat Pack rewards buyers with 630 hp (470 kW / 637 PS) and 627 lb-ft (849 Nm) of torque. That number jumps to 670 hp (500 kW / 679 PS) when you factor in the PowerShot function. This cuts the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time to 3.3 seconds, but the top speed falls to 134 mph (216 km/h) while the range plummets to 260 miles (418 km/h).
While neither is cheap, customers can choose between a free Level 2 charger or $600 in charging credits. The models also qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit when leased.
Speaking of freebies, customers who act by October 31 will receive a First Call package. It includes a welcome kit with a letter of authenticity as well as leather driving gloves. The package also provides access to a VIP concierge as well as two days of instruction in a Charger Daytona at the Radford Racing School in Arizona.
Last but not least, Dodge has launched a new configurator for the Charger Daytona. It’s pretty spiffy as it provides a 360° experience with realistic imagery.
