Ford wants you to help it find Bigfoot and is giving away a specially-equipped Bronco Sasquatch to encourage enthusiasts to get out into the wild. So, how can you win this one-off off-roader?

Earlier this week, Ford launched the Bronco Sasquatch Searcher sweepstakes. The carmaker posts clues across social media, including Reddit, and on posters and street signs in popular Sasquatch-tracking locations. These clues have a phone number that fans can text for answers that will “guide them on their quest” to find the legendary creature and enter them into the contest to win the Bronco.

The special Ford is based on the Bronco Badlands Sasquatch but has received several desirable modifications. For example, it’s been adorned with a camouflaged exterior wrap and rocks a roof-mounted lightbar alongside hood-mounted light pods. Ford has also added additional front and rear-facing cameras, an awning, and custom camping chairs “for when exploring becomes exhausting.” It also has a custom Sasquatch badge and puddle light while found inside is bespoke upholstery, new sill plates, and a unique console badge.

It’s not clear what engine Ford has equipped this special Bronco with. The standard Bronco Badlands is available with either a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 275 hp or a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 delivering a more impressive 330 hp.

Ford Giving Away One-Off Bronco Sasquatch Inspired By Bigfoot

Regardless of the engine, all examples equipped with the Sasquatch package include full-time four-wheel drive, locking front and rear axles, jacked-up suspension, fender flares, 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, and Bilstein dampers. Will someone driving a Bronco ever end up seeing Bigfoot? Probably not, but it’s certainly an interesting initiative to promote Ford’s Jeep Wrangler rival.

Last month, Ford launched a Sasquatch package for the more road-oriented Bronco Sport. This package adds larger 29-inch Goodyear Territory All-Terrain tires, steel bumpers, extra underbody protection, and integrated tow hooks.
