PaxPower is perhaps best known for building the lifted and powerful Silverado-based rivals to the Ford F-150 Raptor R that Chevy itself refuses to create. It’s also worked on a slew of other SUVs and pickups over the years, boosting their ride heights and making them off-road ready. It’s now done the same with the GMC Yukon and for the first time, also offers a lowered version for any city slickers out there.

Anyone who owns a new Yukon wanting to boost its ability to tackle rugged terrain would be wise to opt for the tuner’s JackalSUV package. It sees the standard shocks replaced with either 2.5-inch coilovers from Fox Factory or Icon Vehicle Dynamics, depending on the customer’s preference. PaxPower then fits new tubular steel front upper and rear lower control arms.

A Yukon with the JackalSUV package gets a 3-inch lift at the front and a 1-inch lift at the rear, and allows for a set of 20-inch wheels and 35-inch BFGoodrich K03 all-terrain tires to be installed. Customers can also downsize the wheels to as small as 17-inch or increase them to 22-inch units. A Borla exhaust with quad tailpipes has been fitted, too.

A more road-focused version of the Yukon can also be ordered through PaxPower. The standard air-ride suspension has been retained but has been recalibrated, so the SUV now sits 1-inch lower with the SportSUV package. A set of huge 24×10-inch 4Play wheels add to the premium look. The chrome accents of the flagship Yukon Denali Ultimate have been refinished in gloss black. A Borla exhaust also comes standard.
