• Those who buy or lease a 2025 model have 90 days to redeem a coupon code for their reward.
  • Hyundai’s home charger, regularly priced at $549, features a light blue finish and N logo.
  • Selecting the home charger means you’ll still pay for installation, though Hyundai manages it.

As a driver-focused, performance machine, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is absolutely brilliant. It delivers up to 641 hp and can match a supercar off the line, all while remaining practical and large enough to fit a family. The downside of all this performance is that it can drain its battery pack very quickly. Thankfully, Hyundai has owners sorted.

The carmaker has confirmed that those who buy or lease a 2025 Ioniq 5 N in the U.S. can choose to receive either a complimentary ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 charger or a $450 charging credit to access public charges through ChargePoint.

Anyone picking up the keys to the new Ioniq 5 N will have 90 days from the date of purchase or lease inception to redeem a coupon code for the home charger or the ChargePoint credit. Existing 2025 Ioniq 5 N owners and lessees will also receive a coupon to redeem on a home charger or charging credit.

Those who opt for the home charger will need to pay for installation costs, although the whole process will be handled by Hyundai. This charger is the same one offered for other Hyundai models but it’s been updated with a light blue paint finish and an N logo. It ordinarily costs $549 and seamlessly connects with the ChargePoint app. Hyundai says the charge runs at 50 amps and can add 37 miles (59 km) of driving range per hour of charging.

Customers opting for the $450 credit will need to redeem it within 90 days and have two years to use it.

“At Hyundai, we recognize that switching to a high-performance EV is a big decision for enthusiasts,” senior vice president of product planning and mobility strategy for Hyundai Motor North America, Olabisi Boyle said. “These two great complimentary offers will make it easier to get behind the wheel of an IONIQ 5 N.  IONIQ 5 N sets new benchmarks for all-electric performance, racetrack capability, and driver engagement. Allowing customers to choose between a free home charger or free charging is part of our commitment to meet consumers where they are on their journey to electrification.”
