- Kia is offering incentives to existing Tesla owners of $1,000 and $1,500.
- The EV9’s lease price competes with traditional ICE vehicles like the Toyota Sienna.
- Kia’s current deals include significant discounts and incentives on both EVs.
Now could be a good time to pick up the keys to a new Kia EV9 or Kia EV6 if you live in the US, thanks to compelling new leasing deals and incentives for the Korean firm’s two most recognizable EVs.
If you’re in the US and considering an electric vehicle, it might be the right time to check out Kia’s EV9 or EV6, which are currently available with some interesting leasing deals and incentives.
Things start with the EV6. Most pundits agree that this is one of the most well-rounded and best bang-for-your-buck EVs on the market. Yes, it looks a little funky, but that doesn’t change the fact it’s a good car. Bulletins recently sent to dealers reveal it’s now offered with up to a $17,100 discount on leases, allowing it to undercut the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and all Tesla models.

Additionally, Kia is promoting all 2024 models of the EV6 with 0% APR for up to 72 months, along with lease cash of up to $14,600 in select states like California, Oregon, and Washington. You could drive away in an EV6 Light Long Range for just $179 per month for 24 months with $3,999 due upfront. However, we strongly advise to avoid down payments at all costs. Not only do they mask the true cost of your monthly expense, but you also stand to lose that upfront investment if the car is stolen or totaled.
The carmaker is also running a Tesla Competitive Bonus Program until September 30, where current owners and lessees of Tesla vehicles are offered an additional $1,000 incentive, Cars Direct reports.
Savings vary depending on the specific EV6 trim level, but the GT-Line gets the biggest bonus of up to $16,100, or $17,100, with the $1,000 Tesla incentive.
It’s a similar story for the 2024 Kia EV9. It is also available with the Tesla incentive, although it is $1,500 for the three-row electric SUV. Generous lease cash offers are also offered, including $13,100 in lease cash for the Light Long Range and $14,800 on a 24-month for the EV9 Land.
Depending on where you live, it’s possible to secure an EV9 Light Long Range for just $349 for 24 months with $4,999 due at signing, equaling $557 a month over the life of the lease. This is based on an MSRP of $60,695 and includes 10,000 miles of driving per year. That undercuts traditional ICE rivals like the Toyota Sienna XLE Hybrid offered for $589 for 36 months and the Honda Odyssey EX and Toyota Highlander Hybrid XLE, which command $582 per month and $642 per month, respectively.
