- Acura has dropped the first teaser images of the 2025 ADX, setting the stage for its fall debut.
- The teaser images show limited details but reveal an upscale interior with two-tone seating and a panoramic moonroof.
- The ADX will feature a turbocharged engine, likely a 1.5-liter four-cylinder producing around 200 hp.
Acura’s most affordable crossover starts at $44,700 and that’s a big problem as BMW, Cadillac, Lexus, and Mercedes all offer a ‘proper’ entry-level model with a lower price tag. Honda’s luxury brand is now addressing the issue with the long-awaited ADX.
While the entry-level crossover was originally announced in April, Acura has now dropped four new teaser images and some initial details. Starting outside, we can see the premium compact SUV will have a prominent rear spoiler as well as an angular rear window. They’re joined by a secondary spoiler as well as wraparound taillights with a Chicane motif.

The interior looks the part as we can get a glimpse of the two-tone heated and ventilated front seats trimmed in what appears to be leather and Alcantara upholstery. Designers also installed contrast stitching, a panoramic moonroof, and a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system.
Acura was coy on specifics but confirmed the ADX will have a turbocharged engine. This is interesting to note as the model is expected to be based on the Honda HR-V, which is offered exclusively with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder developing 158 hp (118 kW / 160 PS) and 138 lb-ft (187 Nm) of torque.
This means the ADX could use the CR-V’s turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder that packs 190 hp (142 kW / 193 PS) and 179 lb-ft (242 Nm) of torque. Another possibility is the Integra’s 1.5-liter turbo, which has 200 hp (149 kW / 203 PS) and 192 lb-ft (260 Nm) of torque.
Many questions remain, but we’ll get our answers shortly as the ADX will debut this fall. While nothing is official, the model could be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which kicks off in November.
