- Ford will offer the Bronco Base with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder and a seven-speed manual.
- It’s unclear if the more powerful 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 will also be offered.
- Prices for the 2023 Bronco Base started at $37,430, but that figure will likely rise for 2025.
The 2025 Ford Bronco is just around the corner and will mark the return of the entry-level Base model which was dropped for the 2024 model year.
The Big Bend served as the entry-level version of the Bronco after Ford dropped the Base model for 2024. This meant the cheapest Bronco last year was $3,595 more expensive than in 2023, and at the time, Ford said it ditched the Base to better align with customer needs. Evidently, it’s now decided that customers do need a back-to-basics model.

An official order guide from Ford was recently published on the Ford Bronco Base Facebook page and confirms the Base will return late in the 2025 model year. The order guide fails to mention how much the Base will cost, but it will be sold as standard with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder and a seven-speed manual transmission. Previous Base models had also been offered with the more powerful 2.7-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 and a 10-speed automatic ‘box, but there’s no word on whether that’ll be the case for 2025.
Customers looking to pick up the keys to the Base model will be able to option the Sasquatch package, which adds 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler MT tires, front and rear diff locks, beefed-up suspension, and a 4.7 final drive ratio.
The 2023 Ford Bronco Base started at $37,430, and we expect a moderate price hike for the 2025MY.
Several other changes are mentioned in the order guide for the 2025 Bronco. For example, Ford is ditching a slew of colors, including Cactus Gray, Iconic Silver, Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Peak Blue, Race Red, and Yellowstone. New paint options include Desert Sand, Marsh Gray, and Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat.
Elsewhere, the guide confirms that beadlock-capable wheels will be available as a separate option for the Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands models. Electric brake boost is also featured across the line-up and there are a host of new packages available.
The Drive reports Ford will announce more details about the 2025 Bronco in the coming weeks.
