- GMC has introduced the 2025 Sierra EV Denali, which offers a new Extended Range battery that enables the truck to travel 390 miles between charges.

- More affordable Elevation and AT4 trims are slated to join the lineup in the first half of 2025.
Chevrolet recently announced a host of updates to the 2025 Silverado EV and now it’s time for GMC to do the same. As a result, the Professional Grade brand has unveiled the 2025 Sierra EV Denali.
The big news is the availability of Extended Range and Max Range battery packs. The former delivers 390 miles (628 km) of range, while the latter promises a GM-estimated 460 miles (740 km). That effectively splits the difference between last year’s model, which had an estimated range of 440 miles (708 km).

Besides the battery improvements, it sounds like the truck gets a slight power boost as the output climbs from an estimated 754 hp (562 kW / 764 PS) to 760 hp (567 kW / 771 PS). However, the torque output remains unchanged at 785 lb-ft (1,063 Nm).
While GMC didn’t delve into details, the smaller battery enabled the company to lower pricing from $99,495 to $91,995. Both prices include a destination fee, which has increased from $1,995 last year to $2,095 for 2025. Of course, if you want the Max Range variant, you’ll need to shell out more than six figures as pricing begins at $100,495.
While pricing is far from cheap, the Sierra EV lineup is slated to expand to include Elevation and AT4 trims early next year. These were previewed in 2022 and are slated to have unique front fascias as well as less equipment.
The AT4 will likely be the most interesting of the bunch as GMC has previously said it will have an additional 2 inches (51 mm) of ground clearance as well as 18-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch all-terrain tires. Other highlights are slated to include Super Cruise, 4-Wheel Steer, CrabWalk, and a spray-on bedliner.
