Classics Restorations crafts some of the finest Ford Mustang restomods on the planet, and one of them is now up for sale in the US with no reserve. Building such a wonderful Mustang restomod though won’t come cheap.
The company spent two years overhauling the classic American pony car, fitting it with the GT500CR 545 package. The Mustang’s original bodywork has been replaced with a carbon fiber body created by the experts at SpeedKore Performance. It was then painted in Pepper Gray and has center stripes finished in a lovely exposed carbon fiber weave.

A set of 18×8-inch and 18×11-inch wheels have been fitted front and rear and are clad in 245/35 front and 315/30 rear tires. While some restomodders would call it a day after working on the body panels and installing new wheels, that’s not what Classic Restorations has done.
Under the carbon fiber skin, you’ll now find goodies like adjustable coilovers, new subframe connectors, and upgraded front and rear sway bars. The Mustang also features beefed-up brakes from Wilwood with slotted and cross-drilled discs. A Ford Racing 427 cubic-inch V8 with Holley fuel injection sits under the hood, featuring BBK headers and a Concept One pulley system. There’s also a new radiator and a battery mounted in the trunk.
Mated to the potent V8 is a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a nine-inch rear end with a Traction-Lock differential. The listing notes the car has only been driven 673 miles (1,083 km) since the build was complete.
Several upgrades have also been made to the Mustang’s interior. These include SCAT Rally Series 1000 seats, five-point racing harnesses, a new air conditioning system, and an Alpine CD player with Bluetooth and Focal coaxial speakers.
