- This special edition sports a Red Oxide exterior, Satin Black hood, and 20-inch Brass Monkey wheels.

If the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet, Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead, and Durango R/T 20th Anniversary Edition didn’t whet your appetite, perhaps the new Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey will do the trick. It’s the fourth special edition for 2025 and it’s clear we’re in overkill territory. But then again, isn’t that exactly what Dodge does best?
So what makes this one stand out? Not much, but the model has a Red Oxide exterior with a Satin Black hood and black exhaust tips. They’re joined by special badging and 20-inch Brass Monkey wheels that are backed up by a six-piston Brembo braking system with black calipers.

Besides the subtle but eye-catching exterior, the Brass Monkey has a two-tone interior with Sepia Laguna leather seats that have embroidered SRT Hellcat logos on the backrests. They’re joined by a leather and suede steering wheel, silver/sepia accent stitching, and a wrapped instrument panel. Other highlights include a suede headliner, forged carbon fiber trim, and black chrome accents.
Special touches aside, the Durango comes nicely equipped with a sunroof, a wireless smartphone charger, and a 10.1-inch infotainment system. They’re joined by a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and a host of driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control.
Power is provided by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 producing 710 hp (529 kW / 720 PS) and 645 lb-ft (874 Nm) of torque. It enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.5 seconds, run the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds, and hit a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h).
As before, the brand is directing customers to use the Dodge Horsepower Locator tool at DodgeGarage.com to find dealers with the latest special edition. However, the site only lists the 2024 Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI, so just pick up the phone and pretend it’s 1978.
Unfortunately, pricing doesn’t predate the internet era as the special edition starts at a hefty $113,720 before destination fees. Apparently, Dodge’s nostalgia for old-school communication methods didn’t extend to old-school pricing.
