• Ford has introduced the 2025 Bronco Stroppe, which replaces the previous Wildtrak trim.
  • The special edition is available exclusively in two-door guise and sports a colorful exterior with 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires.
  • A 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 resides under the hood and should produce 330 hp.

Like a washed up former athlete, Ford can’t stop living in the past as they’ve introduced the second retro-inspired Bronco in as many weeks. The latest is the Stroppe special edition and it follows hot on the heels of the Bronco Free Wheeling.

Billed as a successor to the Stroppe Baja Bronco from the ‘60s and ‘70s, the model replaces the Wildtrak and is available exclusively in a two-door configuration. It immediately stands out thanks to a colorful exterior that features an Oxford White and Code Orange body as well as an Atlas Blue painted hardtop.

Buyers will also find a Frozen White grille, Code Orange tow hooks, and a matte black hood that helps to reduce glare. They’re joined by a steel front bumper, high-clearance fender flares, and removable side steps with integrated rock rails. Rounding out the highlights are a matte black tailgate and 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels with a gloss black finish.

Ford didn’t say much about interior updates, but the off-roader has white trim and Code Orange accents. They’re joined by contrast stitching and a Stroppe badge on the center console.

While many vehicles put style over substance, Ford didn’t skimp on performance. Instead, the model embraces its “desert-racing spirit” and features a standard 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. It presumably develops 330 hp (246 kW / 335 PS) and 415 lb-ft (562 Nm) of torque.

Besides the mid-level engine, the Stroppe has a High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension 3.0 (HOSS 3.0). It’s joined by a stabilizer bar disconnect, Fox internal bypass dampers, and 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires.

The Bronco Stroppe special edition will be available in January and pricing will be announced closer to launch. However, the model likely won’t be cheap as the Wildtrak began at $60,225 before destination.
