Automakers have a long history of partnering with apparel brands and that trend continues thanks to a tie-up between Jeep and The North Face. The collaboration has spawned a limited edition Avenger 4xe and only 4,806 units will be available in Europe as a nod to Mont Blanc’s height in meters.

Designed to perfectly encapsulate the “philosophy of sustainable exploration,” the model pays homage to the “strength and elegance of the mountainous landscape.” Marketing hyperbole aside, the crossover has a Storm, Volcano or Snow exterior with contrasting Summit Gold accents. Customers can also opt for a contrasting black roof.

Additional changes are limited, but there’s a lightly revised grille with gloss black rings and topographic centers. Buyers will also find an antireflective hood decal as well as 17-inch alloy wheels with a black finish and golden Jeep lettering.

The colorful design continues in the cabin as there are special seats that draw inspiration from puffer jackets. They wear durable, two-tone upholstery with Summit Gold flourishes. Even the back of the front seats are special as they have elastic straps, which are reminiscent of those found on backpacks from The North Face.

Rounding out the highlights are a unique dashboard that incorporates topographic lines as well as a silhouette of Mont Blanc and an inscription reading “One of 4806.” It’s joined by a unique center console and special floor mats featuring 3D mountain ranges.

Aside from the special touches, the Avenger comes nicely equipped with a heated windshield, a hands-free power liftgate, and passive entry. Buyers will also enjoy heated front seats, GPS navigation, and a multi-color ambient lighting system.

Motivation is provided by a hybridized powertrain that consists of a turbocharged 1.2-liter engine, two electric motors, and a six-speed dual clutch transmission. This setup produces 134 hp (100 kW / 136 PS) and enables the model to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 9.5 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 120 mph (194 km/h).

Jeep is currently accepting orders and buyers will receive a welcome kit that includes a tent, duffle bag, and water bottle. Pricing varies by country, but the Avenger 4xe The North Face Edition starts at £34,999 in the United Kingdom, €39,000 in Germany, and €38,750 in France.
