An amazing collection of 28 motorcycles has just gone up for auction in the UK, and no matter what era of two-wheelers revs your engine, there’s something here that’s bound to grab your attention. From vintage classics to modern superbikes, this lineup covers decades of motorcycle history in pristine condition.
Roughly half of the bikes in this collection were bought brand-new by the seller, and most of them boast delivery mileage. The oldest bike is a 1969 BSA Rocket 3 that’s undergone a comprehensive restoration, meaning it looks just as good now as it did when it was brand new.

There are several other classics on offer. These include a 1975 Triumph Trident T160V which has only ever been ridden a single mile and was previously displayed at a museum in the Netherlands. A 1979 Kawasaki Z900 with just 55 miles on the clock is also bound to generate plenty of interest, as is a 1976 Triumph Bonneville 750, a 1976 Yamaha RD400C, and two Maico MC400 dirtbikes from 1979 and 1980, respectively.
Anyone who is a fan of modern-day supersports bikes is also in for a treat. The collection includes a BMW HP4 with the desirable Competition Package, adding several carbon fiber parts. There’s also a Ducati 1199 Panigale Superleggera, an 1199 Panigale Tricolore, a 2014 MC Agusta F4 RC, a 2016 Yamaha YZF-R1, and a 2021 BMW M 1000 RR.
Plenty of cruisers also form part of The Riddel Collection available through Collecting Cars. Included among them are a 2015 Suzuki VZR Intruder Custom, a 2015 Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle, and a 2016 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. The collection also includes a 2022 BMW R 1250 GS Adventure TE, a 2014 Ducati XDiavel S, and a 2021 Kawasaki Z900RS. Making the auction particularly exciting is that roughly half of the bikes have been listed with no reserve.
