We’ve gathered here today to celebrate our shared love for automotive culture and enthusiasm, much of which is fueled by the very cars we drive daily. So, let’s see what you’re driving! In fact, let’s take it a step further—let’s vote on who among us has the best ride and in the end, the top spots will get featured in a upcoming article.
Seeing as I cannot win this competition, I’m using my three vehicles as examples here. Keep in mind that it’s also because they serve a purpose as they emphasize just how wide-ranging the answers can be. Our lead image is my daily driver, a tuned 2010 Ford Flex Limited with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, a six-speed automatic gearbox, and a very front-wheel drive-biased AWD system.

It’s a wonderful daily driver with just about everything anyone actually needs like decent power (355 ponies when stock), a nimble (for its size) chassis based on the Taurus, a curb weight that isn’t astronomical, and seating for six (or just my hockey gear, me, and a friend). What it lacks in serious engagement it mostly (but not entirely) makes up for in practicality and road-trippin comfort.
Engagement is where my other two cars come in. The other pseudo-daily driver is a 2013 Mini Cooper S Countryman All4. It’s hilariously plucky, tuned, has an aftermarket variable exhaust, and a pretty old turbo that needs changing. Nevertheless, it’s perhaps the quickest way for me to go from annoyed about a short trip somewhere to stoked for it.
And finally, there’s my 2004 Lexus IS 300 with its naturally aspirated inline-six and a rare but delightful five-speed manual gearbox. This is also one of the cars with the factory-installed limited-slip differential. It’s a blast but it only comes out on special occasions. Now, it’s your turn.

How do we gauge what is truly “best?” That’s completely up to you dear reader. As we’ve covered, there are no big rules about what is or isn’t allowed outside of it being your actual car.
