• A Dodge Charger Sixpack has been spied sporting a dual exhaust system.
  • The model will have a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six offered in 420-hp and 550-hp versions.
  • The Hurricane engine is more powerful than its HEMI V8 predecessors.

It won’t be long before the Dodge Charger Daytona begins landing in dealerships across the US, but not everyone is ready to embrace electrification just yet. For those who still have petrol pumping through their veins, the Charger Sixpack might be the hero they’re waiting for.

An ICE-powered coupe was recently spotted by TikTok user @drkklm and it appears virtually identical to the electric Daytona. However, there are two telltale signs this is a Sixpack and it’s a dual exhaust system. We can also see a lightly modified rear bumper that says Charger rather than Daytona.

Dodge hasn’t released detailed specifications for the Charger Sixpack but has previously confirmed they’ll use a twin-turbo 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six. The standard output variant has 420 hp (313 kW / 426 PS), while the high output version packs a 550 hp (410 kW / 558 PS) punch.

While the ‘brotherhood of muscle’ still complains about the lack of a Hemi, Dodge noted the inline-six is more powerful than the old 5.7- and 6.4-liter V8s. In the Challenger, they produced 375 hp (280 kW / 380 PS) and 485 hp (362 kW / 492 PS).

Little else is known about the gas models, but Dodge has previously said they’ll come standard with all-wheel drive. That, of course, is another big change as most versions of the old Charger and Challenger were rear-wheel drive.

Production was originally slated to start at Windsor Assembly in the first quarter of 2025, but reports have suggested the Sixpack will now arrive next summer. A Dodge spokesperson wouldn’t confirm or deny this when we asked, so it’ll get here when it gets here.

The same TikTok user also shared a video of the electric Charger Daytona Scat Pack spotted out in the open. In this configuration, Dodge says it boasts 670 horsepower, a targeted 0-60 mph (96 km/h) time of 3.3 seconds, and an estimated quarter-mile time of 11.5 seconds.
