- Nissan will bring five builds to the 2024 SEMA, based on the Kicks, Frontier, and Z.
- The Frontier Tarmac features a widebody kit, a slammed suspension, and over 400 hp.
- The Z Legend accessory package makes the sportscar look like the Heritage Edition.
Nissan has unveiled a quartet of concepts for the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, putting its Frontier pickup and Kicks crossover under the knife for a bit of wild experimentation. These modified vehicles, each targeting a different slice of the enthusiast crowd, are joined by the Nissan Z Legend accessory package, a kit inspired by the limited-run Heritage edition of the coupe.
Leading the pack is the Frontier Tarmac Concept, arguably Nissan’s most outlandish SEMA creation this year. The star of the show lies under the hood, a 3.8-liter V6 now fitted with a supercharger producing over 400 hp (299 kW / 406 PS) at the wheels. This power boost is backed by a prototype Nismo cold air intake and a Nismo exhaust system, ensuring it sounds as aggressive as it looks.

The performance-oriented build features wide fenders, a prominent splitter, a vented hood, and carbon fiber accents, while black graphics over the Afterburn Orange paintwork give it a racetrack-ready vibe. It rides on 20-inch wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan tires, with uprated brakes hiding behind them. The lowered stance comes courtesy of a Nismo suspension with adjustable coilovers, giving it that aggressive, hunkered-down look.

Nissan Frontier Project Trailgater
Then there’s the Frontier-based Project Trailgater, which takes a completely different approach, encapsulating the essence of a mobile man cave. The pickup is based on the rugged PRO-4X trim, and it’s fitted with a collection of Nismo Off Road accessories, including a lifted suspension, a bed rack, cargo cases, extra LEDs, and a set of 17-inch beadlock wheels. Equipped with two 43-inch TVs, power coolers, a grille, and a kitchen sink, it sounds like a fitting companion for outdoor activities with your friends.
The next concept is the Nissan Z Legend accessory package. The “Legend” adopts the same two-piece grille design, fender add-ons, black decals, and vintage alloy wheels with the Z Heritage Edition, but combines them with a larger rear spoiler made of carbon fiber. It also features easter eggs like the special emblem on the C-pillar with seven gears, a subtle tribute to the seven generations of Z history.
The company hasn’t confirmed if this package will reach dealerships, but it’s tempting to think of it as an alternative to the limited-edition Heritage for existing Z owners.

The last two concepts are based on the 2025 Nissan Kicks, in an effort to inject some fun into the new generation of the budget-friendly subcompact SUV.
The Nissan Kicks Beach Patrol Concept combines an ambulance livery with off-road bits. The SUV rides on 18-inch Nismo Off Road Ascent wheels wrapped in grippy Yokohama Geolandar tires, and benefits from a custom suspension lift. Finally, a shower kit and coolers will help occupants cope with the hot sun.
On the other hand, the Nissan Kicks Urban Shadow Concept explores the sporty side of the subcompact model and shows its tuning potential for the street. The 18-inch Nismo LM-RS6 wheels and the lowered coilover suspension make it look more like a hatchback. The Kicks is also dressed in a custom livery and carries a bike on its roof. Nissan didn’t mention any power upgrades, but the Nismo cat-back exhaust system will certainly add some excitement to the soundrack.
All four Nissan concepts will make their debut at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, running from November 5-8, giving Nissan fans—and skeptics alike—plenty to talk about.
