• This Valkyrie is expected to sell for between $2.6 million and $3 million, no higher than its MSRP.
  • This Valkyrie was delivered new in Japan.
  • Contrasting the Lunar White paint finish is a series of bright red accents.

Just 150 examples of the Aston Martin Valkyrie will be built and like many other high-priced hypercars, all examples were quickly accounted for when the car was first announced. Since deliveries began, a handful have hit the used market and next month, RM Sotheby’s will auction one off in Dubai.

This Valkyrie was ordered new by a customer in Japan and is finished in Lunar White with several carbon fiber accents and red detailing, including the brake calipers. The car has also been specced with Satin Black magnesium wheels and has more than £120,000 (~$154,000) in options, including a carbon engine plenum, Inconel exhaust, and a gloss carbon fiber engine cover.

The auction house expects the car to sell for between $2.6 million and $3 million. This means it could match the $3 million fetched by another Valkyrie that RM sold at the start of this year. Interestingly, the Valkyrie has a starting price of around $3 million, so despite its rarity and desirability, it doesn’t appear to have increased in value like some other hypercars.

Inside, the Aston Martin has seats clad in Pure Black Deboss Alcantara and rocks satin carbon fiber inserts on the roof. It has also been optioned with six-point racing harnesses and red anodized switchgear. A look at the odometer reveals the car has been driven just 109 km (67 miles) since it was delivered.

Driving the Valkyrie is one of the finest, naturally-aspirated engines produced in recent memory. The 6.5-liter V12 has been built by Cosworth and pumps out 1,000 hp while revving to 11,100 rpm. And then add a 140 hp electric motor and a small battery pack sourced from Rimac.
